Northwestern’s Pat Fitzgerald made history today. Fitz made spring college football practice interesting to the people of Chicago, Illinois. Spring college football is not something that Chicagoans get into all that much. Every year, it’s never one of the leading daily news topics, as the nation’s third largest city just has too many other entertainment options.
However, Pat Fitzgerald addressed a topic this morning at spring practice that’s a new precedent.
On April 25th, the Northwestern football team will vote whether or not to form a union. And if you thought the unionization thing wouldn’t fly in Fitzerland, you would be correct. Here are some tweets that analyze/quote what Pat Fitzgerald said.
