Jaren Sina will be a Seton Hall Pirate. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Matey!
With regime change from Bill Carmody to Chris Collins, a lot of things became in flux at NU. One of which was the commitment of star point guard Jaren Sina. He was among the highest rated recruits in Carmody and Northwestern hoops history. He gave a “solid verbal” to NU, but once Collins left Duke to take over in Evanston, Sina re-opened his recruiting.
Chris Collins lost this one. As Jaren Sina will takes his talents to the Hall and the new Big East; instead of the Big Ten. Dave Sobolewski will play a lot of minutes at the one next year. The defection of Jaren Sina from the Wildcats to the Pirates is certainly a big setback for Collins, as he tries to build something up in Evanston.
