TV Catches United Star Victor Lindelof Allegedly Cursing at Wolves Bench (Video)

Emotions ran high yesterday as Manchester United were dumped out of the FA Cup, with a 2-1 loss at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinals. United central defender Victor Lindelof was totally livid after he was shown a straight red card by referee Martin Atkinson.

Lindelof initially received the harshest punishment possible for his hack on the opposing Diego Jota, but VAR led to the infraction being changed to a yellow. Television cameras caught the Swedish international screaming at the Wolves bench, and you can see the footage of that here:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Slams His Team’s Performance as United Eliminated from FA Cup

We always wondered how the Manchester United of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would react to their first Premier League loss, and the answer, which came yesterday, was not encouraging at all. United were dumped out of the FA Cup in the quarterfinals yesterday with a 2-1 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.

After the match, Solskjaer gave a scathing assessment of his own team’s dreadful performance. He said it was the worst outing that he’s seen from them, and that it was a couple steps backward from all the progress the Red Devils have made.

Jurgen Klopp Dismisses Franz Beckbenbauer’s Idea of Bayern Munich Move


Talk of Jurgen Klopp managing Germany, or Bayern Munich someday has been around for a long while, and it’s a discussion that will probably never go away as long as the German is managing football games. Bayern and German national team legend Franz Beckenbauer is nicknamed “Der Kaiser,” and that tells you all that you need to know about the weight his opinion carries.

Kaiser Beckenbauer would like to see the Liverpool manager lead Bayern someday, saying: “Jurgen Klopp at FC Bayern. That would be the highlight. Jurgen was the one who taught the Germans how to play football quickly.”

Nemanja Matic Hopes United Can End Man City’s Quadruple Hopes

Manchester United will kick off in a few minutes at Wolverhampton Wanderers, in a FA Cup quarterfinal clash. It’s one of two competitions (the UEFA Champions League being the other) where United are through to the quarters and still retain hopes of winning a trophy this season.

Long out of the running for the Premier League title, United’s top priority now is to finish in the top four and make sure they stay in UCL next season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Confident United Can Make Nou Camp Magic Again in UCL

Manchester United Interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is feeling very confident about his UEFA Champions League draw, despite the commonly held belief that his side got the toughest assignment. United will face FC Barcelona, a strong contender to win the competition, in the UCL quarterfinals.

You might recall that the Nou Camp was the location of the dramatic 90′ game winning goal that Solskjaer, nicknamed the “baby faced assassin” in his playing days, scored for United in the 1999 Champions League final triumph over Bayern Munich.

Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction at Fulham FC

Heading into the weekend clash at Fulham FC, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp lavished heavy praise upon central defender Joel Matip for his displays during an injury riddled patch.

“He has really stepped up,” the German said. “From me he cannot get more praise, he’s an outstanding player and he did unbelievably against Bayern. We were unlucky with the centre-back injuries but hopefully this is all nearly sorted.”

Liverpool FC visits Fulham on Sunday in a match-up of two teams that reside at opposite ends of the Premier League spectrum.
