The artist renderings of the Wrigley renovations were unveiled yesterday, and with it Chicago Cubs President Crane Kenney laid out more particulars of the master plan. A lawsuit from the rooftop owners across the street is likely…there will be blood. So how rocky will it get? Will the Wrigley renovations be delayed yet again? Will they be even costlier than projected?
Here to sort it all out for us is Tim Baffoe from CBS Chicago.com and 670 The Score.com
Check out his column archive here. Baffoe wrote Ricketts’ original draft of his message to Cubbie Nation about the Wrigley Field renovation. Not seriously his message, but you already figured that out after you read the first couple paragraphs. But read that letter anyway, it’s the best thing you’ll see online today.
And Baffoe is a must follow on Twitter @TimBaffoe.
The first 8 or 9 minutes are about the Wrigley renovations, then we transition to DePaul, talking about the alleged sexual assault controversy that’s been ignored by the media. Around the 10 or 11 minute mark we talk about Jordan Lynch and the cult of Jordan Lynch. Then the rest of the podcast, from the 18 or 19 minute mark focuses on the Washington football team, and the name change, which is hopefully coming soon.
