Chelsea FC vs Leicester City Injury Report: Morata, Cahill, Moses, Vardy, Chilwell

Leicester City head to Chelsea FC on Saturday looking to achieve their first win at Stamford Bridge since 2000. The odds and projections are not in their favor. The Foxes have lost six and drawn two at the west London club since that last victory and they’ll head into this clash looking up eight places in the current table (Chelsea are fourth while Leicester is 12th).

Let’s take a look at the fitness and injury situation for both sides starting with the hosts. Striker Alvaro Morata is a doubt for this match due to the knee injury he suffered a week ago in the Europa League draw at Vidi, the match that saw an ugly incident of supporters making anti-Semitic chants.

Meanwhile team captain Gary Cahill, who has played extremely sparingly this season remains out, as does Victor Moses.

Switching over to the visitors, striker Jamie Vardy should be back in action after sitting out Tuesday night’s EFL Cup loss to Manchester City. Defender Ben Chilwell faces a late fitness test for this clash while Daniel Amartey remains on the shelf long-term. Now for the Chelsea FC vs Leicester City FYIs.

Kick-off is 3:0o pm (BST), Saturday December 22nd at Stamford Bridge.

The odds, via William Hill, show a Chelsea FC win backed at 3/10, a draw is priced at 17/4 while Leicester City can be had at 10/1.
