Liverpool FC Will Reportedly Not Sell Mohamed Salah at Any Price

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, according to one study, improved his value in the transfer market 84% since he moved from AS Roma to Liverpool this past summer. His stock is rising faster, arguably, than any other individual player on the planet right now. He’s drawing comparisons to Lionel Messi, and establishing himself as one of the front-runners in the PFA Player of the Year race.

He’s loved his move back to the Premier League, and the British game certainly seems to love his form right back as Salah has 36 goals thus far this season.

The Egyptian international is currently under contract for four more seasons at Anfield, but reportedly, the two Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid, could come calling for his services this summer.

That’s the narrative in The Telegraph, who write that Liverpool “will not sell Mohamed Salah under any circumstances this summer, with the club determined that the Egyptian remains central to their pursuit of honours.”

Yes, Anfield has reportedly made the stance that Mohamed Salah is not for sale, at any price. Liverpool FC are determined to show that they are not a selling club, and parting ways with Philippe Coutinho, to the tune of £142 million to Barca, didn’t help their attempt to establish this kind of reputation.

In addition to Coutinho, Liverpool has also recently sold Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano, and Luis Suarez to the La Liga giants.

Of course, Liverpool do not want to sell Salah, as no team would want to send away an elite star performing at a level like this. However, the big money offers will inevitably keep coming, especially since Salah doesn’t have a release clause, according to ESPN FC.
