The big money move Manchester United made for Anthony Martial on summer transfer window deadline day dominated headlines at the time. Rightfully so, as it was a pretty big price tag for a then relatively unknown player. And we’re still talking about today. Mainly because this transfer window has been astoundingly dull and pretty much lacking in actual news.

So hey why not further discuss the deal that Old Trafford did with Monaco for Anthony Martial?

The full documents outlining the transfer deal leaked today, and the Daily Mirror posted them for your viewing pleasure at this link here. Mirror Sport writes:

The file, which first appeared on Football Leaks, purports to reveal the true extent of spending from United on the former Monaco youngster.

It reveals that United will pay their €50million for Martial across two separate installments.

The second of those payments will be made at the end of this season, regardless of performance levels shown by the Frenchman.

But as reported when Martial signed, the transfer could progressively become more and more expensive or United.

As of now, United will pay their 50 million Euro, ($54.55 million, £38.51) in two installments. However, the contract which runs until 2019, is laden with incentives that could trigger additional costs. If Martial scores 25 goals in competitive marches, then United would have to pay another 10 million Euro ($10.91 million, £77.04).

If Anthony Martial is nominated for the Ballon d’Or, or plays in 25 matches for the French national Team, the same exact amount would again kick in.
