Jurgen Klopp to his Critics: “Yes, we do have a plan B”

Against the top six in the Premier League, Liverpool is beyond elite. They are a treble winning level side when they take on the best clubs. However, when the Reds takes on the lower table sides, they look like relegation fodder; or worse.

Liverpool lost to Burnley, a team not too far above the group hovering around that relegation zone, at the Turf Moor back in August. With the rematch looming Sunday, you can’t help but think they could stumble again; especially since they just crushed Arsenal.

The Reds really are the very definition of the team that plays to the level of their opponent.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has certainly heard the critics, and thus he had to enter defensive mode during pregame media opportunities.

Via Sky Sports: “People say I don’t have a Plan B or whatever [but] yes, we know how to play,” Klopp said.

“We have to cover specific spaces and make the right decisions. We can’t just say we can only concentrate on counter attacks, set pieces, whatever. It’s an all-round challenge.”

Liverpool currently sits fourth in the Premier League table, but Arsenal and Manchester United are close behind and have a game in hand on the Reds.
