Bruno Mars will make a special announcement regarding his Super Bowl Halftime performance today during halftime of the New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks NFC Divisional playoff game. That comes to us via a Fox Sports press release sent out the evening of January 8th.
What is the Bruno Mars news?
The Los Angeles Times revealed the answer.
In what might be considered a rather unorthodox pairing, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are expected to join Bruno Mars on stage during his Super Bowl Halftime show.
The official word is that Bruno Mars “invited” RHCP to join him, but I’m guessing that a whole lot of other music industry people had something to do with this decision. The Chili Peppers are slated to perform on February 1st, the eve of the Super Bowl – at The Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York (Home of the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA.)
