What does it take to get a DUI BEFORE noon? What exactly are you doing, Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings? Consuming alcohol in the morning, to the point that it makes you legally impaired to drive…well that’s just…I think this tweets sums it up best:

Tim Jennings was arrested for DUI at 11:54 a.m. today. The #Bears aren’t even playing anymore but still manage to embarrass themselves.

So why was Tim Jennings going nearly 100 mph on the Interstate? Because he was late for a parent/teacher conference,  according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The report states that Jennings was arrested around noon in Gwinnett County, Georgia when an officer noticed the former Georgia Bulldog cruising through SEC country with SEC speed in his white Mercedes.

The former Pro Bowler was ADAMANT he wasn’t drunk, claiming that he had stopped drinking about 10 hours before the stop (roughly 2 A.M.).

The officer then asked Jennings if he had brushed his teeth or used mouthwash to cover up the scent. To which Tim Jennings replied: “What kind of question is that?”

Now you know how much policemen love it when you act insubordinate and question authority.

The officer shot back, “Sir, you can brush your teeth and still have the smell of alcohol on your breath, you know that.”

Tim Jennings then admitted to speeding and said he was running late for a parent teacher conference for his 2-year-old child.
