Tottenham Hotspur is running out of time and chances to catch Leicester City to win the Premier League title. They do have a really easy contest today against last place Aston Villa, but the Foxes also have some games remaining against weak competition. Despite the odds being against Spurs, their star striker Harry Kane says the team is calm and collected.
According to a narrative in the Daily Mirror today, Harry Kane maintains the Tottenham dressing room is not panicking as the title race enters a crucial stage.
‘Nobody is panicking,’ Kane told The Mirror. ‘We’ve had a lot of games. Tough games, but then so has everyone else in the Premier League.
Yes, West Ham was a disappointing result, we know that. But looking back it wasn’t the worst performance in the world. Against Arsenal we played very well but we just didn’t see it out.
‘But I don’t think there is anything to be concerned about.’
There have been unlucky, unforeseen set backs along the way too. According to a story in the Daily Mail Tottenham’s tilt at the Premier league title wasn’t helped on Thursday when they were forced to stay in Dortmund for another night due to a problem with their plane.
