The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free-agent center Zaza Pachulia, who returns for his second stint with the Bucks after also spending the 2004-05 season in Milwaukee. Pachulia was selected by Orlando with the 42nd overall pick in 2003. After appearing in 59 games for the Magic during his rookie season, Pachulia was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats in 2004 before being traded to the Bucks for a future second round pick.
Pachulia appeared in 74 games (four starts) in a Bucks uniform, averaging 6.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.
Following the 2004-05 season, Pachulia signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Hawks, where he has spent each of the last eight seasons – including the last three under Bucks head coach Larry Drew. You don’t need to work for a Sports Book Review to realize that this signing won’t make a huge difference in the power struggle of the Central division.
