John Daly, of Dardanelle, Ark., will undergo elbow surgery next week, keeping him off the golf course for about 3-4 months. As he rehabs from a torn tendon, remember that John Daly the golfer is a completely different person from Daily Show host Jon Stewart. I cannot tell you how many times my senior citizen parents mix these two men up; and I have to correct them.
Today Daly tweeted:

Also, you also gotta see the patriotic pants John Daly wore yesterday for the 4th of July.
Happy July 4th!! make sure y’all stop & think about all those who sacrificed to make this a Great Nation! #America https://t.co/PfVVk7cz1r

John Daly is known for being much more than a PGA Pro-Golfer. He loves his kids, music and his Arkansas Razorbacks. In no particular order. In his life, he’s also loved drinking, smoking, gambling, really wild and crazy women sometimes and…well, he’s just the definition of man’s man you could say. This is his second withdrawal of the season; he also withdrew from the Crowne Plaza Invitational.
