The big three are splitting up. Chris Bosh will be the first domino to fall. Now that Lebron James has returned to his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami heat power troika are going their separate ways. Chris Bosh is headed to the Houston Rockets.
ESPN’s Mark Stein tweeted: “Source close to situation says Rockets believe they will have commitment “soon” for Chris Bosh to come to Houston.”
The Rockets were all over Carmelo Anthony, but it’s pretty clear that he’s staying put in New York City. So now Houston will have a pretty formidable big three in Dwight Howard, James Harden and Chris Bosh.
Don’t forget Jeremy Lin of course! (oh wait, he’s being dealt to Philly in order to clear cap space) Jeremy Lin is being traded to the L.A. Lakers in order to clear up space and make this deal official.
Dealing Omer Asik to New Orleans was on the table too. Letting Chandler Parsons sign an offer sheet with Dallas will also clear up cap space.
