Chandler Harnish was once known as the greatest quarterback in NIU Huskies history. (Well, before current NIU QB Jordan Lynch breaks all the Chandler Harnish reords) Then he was taken by the Indianapolis Colts with the exact last pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, thus Chandler Harnish was better known as “Mr. Irrelevant.”
Now Chandler Harnish is a co-star with NFL on FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver in a video everyone is going to see.
Watch this video from the Colts-Giants preseason game.
Before the broadcast, Oliver was looking over her notes when Chandler Harnish was warming up. Harnish had one sail on him and the ball hit Oliver right square in the face. However, Oliver shook it off and carried on, doing her job like a true pro.
The topic came up with Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck in a sideline interview during the game.
“And thanks to you guys for hitting me in the face with a football,” Oliver jokingly said to Luck.
“Oh yeah, we apologize on that,” Luck said. “We are so sorry.”
