Remember the Hyundai Super Bowl commercial of Brett Favre accepting his MVP award in 2020? I thought it was joke then, but now I’m not so sure. In an interview with USA Today, Brett Favre admitted that he might be able to play football until he’s 50 years old.

“Hell, you gotta quit sometime,” Favre said. “Then again, maybe I will be doing this when I’m 50 years old, who knows?”
It may be a little ridiculous to believe that he’ll play until he’s 50, but playing at a pro-bowl level at age 40 and never missing one single game in a 19-year career is also ridiculous. If there’s one thing to take out of these comments, it’s that Favre seems to be itching to come back this season, at the very least.
