University of Georgia junior outside linebacker Jarvis Jones has decided to forego his senior season and enter the 2013 NFL Draft. The SEC championship game runner-up Georgia Bulldogs (11-2) were extended, and accepted, an invitation to the Capital One Bowl (we used to know it as the Citrus Bowl)

Outback Bowl vs. Georgia: Serious Let-Down for Michigan State

michigan-state-logo

On paper, the Outback Bowl: Michigan State vs. Georgia is a great game. Two schools that are much more worthy of being in the BCS than Virginia Tech, and probably more deserving than Michigan. So clearly, it’s a better game than the Sugar Bowl.

And the Orange Bowl too. Clemson is nothing special, and no Big East team, let alone West Virginia should be allowed anywhere near the BCS. And even though MSU and UGA were possibly worthy of at large bids, Boise State, Arkansas and South Carolina were much worthier than the Spartans and Bulldogs; and they got shut out. #14 Georgia Bulldogs: College Football 77 in 77

uga cheerleaders

Why am I so high on a team that had a losing season last fall and lost their best players on both sides of the ball? Well, the Georgia Bulldogs have a lot more going for them in 2011 than they did last year. A.J. Green and Justin Houston are indeed gone, but they have a blue chip recruiting class coming in, stud transfers becoming eligible, and another year in the system at key positions.

Also, the Bulldogs off-season conditioning program will bring more speed to the personnel better suited for their attacking style on defense.
