Green Bay Packers CEO hosts open conference call with fans

We’re just one day away from the Green Bay Packers’ playoff opener against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field. So this afternoomn Vic Ketchman editor from Packers.com hosted Pack President and CEO Mark Murphy on an open conference call for Packer backers. As a stockholder, I had to listen in and hear what Murphy had to say.

Murphy seemed to like a lot of the questions, saying “that’s a good question,” in response to many of the queries.

Packers Nip the Colts 24-21; Preseason Notes and Links


The Green Bay Packers played their starters for an entire half en route to a 24-21 win over the Indianapolis Colts to improve to 2-1 in the preseason. Even though Aaron Rodgers and company had a crisp half, it was third-stringer Graham Harrell who led the Pack to a last minute victory on Friday.

Green Bay Packers 2011 Schedule Notables


We’re not sure if all of them will be played, but the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers schedule has been released.

Not only do they kick off the NFL Season in the league’s opening Thursday game, they play on three holidays and have many juicy match-ups in their journey to back-to-back Super Bowls.

Wrapping up the 2010 Chicago Bears Season

And so it ends …

When Calvin Johnson erroneously placed the football on the ground of the end zone in the closing seconds of the first game of the season, I immediately thought it would be a long season.

The Bears were about to lose to the Lions … at home! However, thanks to the replay gods and an awful rule, the Bears were given a gift and a first-week win.

This controversial call along with a bevy of other near misses and lucky plays had many national pundits calling Chicago overrated and undeserving.

However, the weeks went on and the “W’s” piled up. And the next week thing you know, the Bears are playing at home in the NFC Championship game. And, what do you know, even though the Bears made it; they were still overrated and undeserving.
