Minnesota Vikings: Playing for a Draft Pick



There is tremendous speculation over the draft situations of the league’s bottom dwellers. There are many squads fighting for first place in their race for the bottom. The tiebreaker system will soon come into play after the completion of week seventeen comes to a close in the NFL.

The NBA lottery was implemented to keep clubs from trying to lose at the end of their regular seasons in order to ensure a better pick. This has been a complete disaster because certain teams have consistently not been awarded what they deserve while others like Orlando have been extremely fortunate. Anyway, I have some ways for a proper tiebreaker to occur.

Milwaukee Bucks GM John Hammond deserves a 2010-11 season pass

If NBA seasons were a collection of Mortal Kombat matches, the Milwaukee Bucks were on the receiving end of a Sub-Zero freezing rain finishing move at the hands of the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Bucks failure to maintain a six point lead with four minutes remaining against a similarly stunted Bobcats offense was closure for a season rife with bad injury luck and general underachievement.

The real or perceived end of a season that started with high expectations always brings “What went wrong?” discussions full circle to auditing the front office, and Bucks GM John Hammond has and will receive criticism for handcuffing Milwaukee’s budget with unmovable contracts to players on the back half of their careers.

Limping Milwaukee Bucks beat up on paralyzed Cleveland Cavaliers

Tuesday, it was the starters. Wednesday, it was the bench.

For the first time all season, the Milwaukee Bucks strung together a back-to-back set of games where the first unit drove the Land Rover of victory one night, only to have the second unit jump start the stalled vehicle on the way to another win 24 hours later.
