Giant statues of Miami Heat big three created at go kart race track (photos)


With the Miami HEAT headed to the 2012 NBA Finals versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, a local South Florida company thought it was only right to commemorate the occasion with 16, 18 and 20 foot statues of the big three.

Prime Time Amusements, a global operator, seller and event renter of video arcade machines and simulators, made Miami’s biggest sports figures – LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh – commonly referred to as the “Big Three” truly BIGGER than life. The massive statues are made from Styrofoam and were hand-carved by a professional sculptor before being hard-coated and finally painted.

Miami Heat Unveil New Alternate Black Jerseys



The Miami Heat will now have something in common with Johnny Cash and funeral goers. Because their third (alternate) jersey shows that black is the new black. Because black is the color of choice this winter.

You know that Lebron James commercial “what should I do?” And it’s line “should I embrace my role as the villain?”

These jerseys fit the path of the dark side. And forever will it dominate your destiny.

Former Wolverines, Heat Star Glen Rice Slept with Sarah Palin

A new book hitting store shelves next week claims former Miami Heat star Glen Rice and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had a one-night stand back in 1987, when she was a television sports reporter and he was a junior at the University of Michigan.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Palin, a former high school basketball standout herself, hooked up with Rice in 1987 when Rice and the Wolverines was in Anchorage, Alaska, for a college basketball tournament.
