If ESPN’s Chris Fowler Offended Creationists, WHO CARES??

I don’t believe people should really have a whole host of “dealbreakers,” when it comes to deciding who they date, or even who their friends are. But I do have two: creationists and climate change deniers. And it has nothing to do with these people’s political beliefs (although I’m usually not a fan of these people’s views in that arena either). It’s because those people don’t believe in logic and reason, and I can’t interact with someone like that.

About 10-15 years ago, a subconscious movement not to believe in facts started in fringe pockets of America. I don’t know the how and the why, all I know is that you have to believe in gravity, or today’s weather forecast, or that if you’re bleeding, you should take some conscious effort to stop that. But there are some people who don’t believe in simple rational behavior and basic scientific facts. These are the people who believe the Earth is 4,000 years old, and that man and dinosaurs once interacted together like on the Flintstones.

Apparently, ESPN’s Chris Fowler offended them yesterday with his closing World Cup remarks. I say WHO CARES??? I seriously doubt any creationists read this site everyday- because I seriously doubt creationists read in their leisure time.
