Below is a letter signed by 425 former Penn State players showing support for former head coach Joe Paterno who turned 85 years old today. I was pretty surprised to see Todd Blackledge sign it. As a member of the media establishment, an establishment that has kind of condemned Paterno for his role in protecting Jerry Sandusky. Unless you're someone who's Penn State blue … [Read more...] about Former Penn State Players Circulating Letter in Support of Joe Paterno

Paterno Testimony: Would Have done more but didn’t want to Ruin A.D.’s Weekend
Joe Paterno gave a testimony before the grand jury investigation of Jerry Sandusky back in January. Today, it was read into the state record as Paterno himself was unable to attend due to his broken pelvis and lung cancer. Also, Paterno was not legally mandated to appear at today's hearing. He was of course fired from his head coaching job five days after Sandusky was … [Read more...] about Paterno Testimony: Would Have done more but didn’t want to Ruin A.D.’s Weekend

Penn St. Scandal Link Bank 11-16-11: Sandusky, McQueary, JoePa
As you no doubt heard, Mike McQueary, who might have possible whistle-blower status in the Penn St. scandal, is in a secure location. This is because he's received death threats for so-called "ratting out" Joe Paterno; which reminds us how backwards and unthinking so many people are.
