College Football 77 in 77: #76 Indiana Hoosiers

To say that Indiana University is a college basketball haven but at the same time a dead zone for football is kind of like saying that porn star/stripper/target of Anthony Weiner lust Ginger Lee is a bit skanky; an obvious understatement.

There’s a serious drought going on in Tom Crean’s hoops program, but unfortunately for the gridiron Hoosiers, they’ve done nothing to pick up the slack and get the fanbase focused on college football.

At least they were fun to watch last year. They threw the ball all over the place for big yards, but unfortunately at the same time, their running game and defense was a train wreck. (What else is new in Bloomington?)

Indiana Hoosiers Names Oklahoma Offensive Coordinator as New Head Coach


On the Sunday following Thanksgiving, the Indiana Hoosiers football program fired Bill Lynch as their head coach. Today, they bring in his replacement. IU has hired Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson to be their new coach on Tuesday. Wilson will be introduced as the new leader of the Big Ten program at a news conference at 4 p.m. ET in Bloomington.

Ohio State Experiences the Healing Power of the Indiana Hoosiers

Going into the Indiana game, the Ohio State Buckeyes had plenty to worry about. How would the Buckeye’s banged up secondary hold up against Ben Chappell and the Hoosier’s prolific passing attack? How much would Terrelle Pryor’s thigh injury inhibit an Ohio State offense that has relied on his explosive runs when their backs were against the wall? But what seemed like threats from the Hoosier squad at kickoff turned into the perfect treatment for Ohio State to smooth out their rough edges.
