Chicago Bulls sign E’Twaun Moore; local product, childhood fan

E’Twaun Moore grew up a Chicago Bulls fan.

Today he joined the team.

The 6-4, 191 pound guard hails from East Chicago, Indiana, so this is literally “living the dream.” Moore worked out at the Berto Center (the Bulls’ practice facility in Deerfield, IL) right before the NBA Draft, and The Sports Bank asked him then what kind of feedback the Bulls gave him.

“Told me to be myself and try to get as strong as I can,” Moore said.

99 in 99: #19 Purdue Boilermakers

robbie hummel

With news of Robbie Hummel’s second torn ACL in an eight-month period, the Purdue Boilermakers dropped from second in my rankings to 19th.  Is that too drastic on my part?  When you consider the strength at the top of the Big Ten with teams like Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, and Wisconsin; I do not think so.

The Sports Bank’s “99 in 99” ranks the 72 power conference college basketball programs and top 27 mid-majors.  Click here if you missed teams #20-#99.

By: David Kay

Either you’re in or you’re out.  The 2010 NBA Draft class is set in stone.  Saturday night was the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw their name and decide to return to school if they had not hired an agent.  25 of the 80 players who originally declared chose to pull their names out of the draft meaning 55 underclassmen are in for good.  Translation: a lot of young men are going to be incredibly disappointed draft night and receiving some terrible career advice.
