Bulls Lose Derrick Rose’s Backup to Injury

Chicago Bulls guard C.J. Watson sprained his left elbow in the fourth quarter of last night’s game big win in the home opener versus the Memphis Grizzlies.

He was evaluated by Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and Dr. Greg Nicholson of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

Bulls C.J. Watson Appearing at Bench Mob Party

Chicago Bulls guard CJ Watson is scheduled to appear at The Fifty/50 Restaurant and Bar from 7-9pm on Friday May 13th.

Official ‘Bench Mob’ t-shirts will be sold with all of the profits from sales going to Watson’s foundation, the Quiet Storm Foundation. The event will take place downstairs in the basement lounge.

Bulls C.J. Watson in Floyd Mayweather Love Triangle?!?!


Floyd Mayweather Jr. was in a fit of jealousy over a basketball player when he allegedly attacked his baby mama, Josie Harris on Thursday … this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

According to the report, Mayweather read text messages on Josie’s phone … which included messages from C.J. Watson, who plays for the Chicago Bulls. According to the report, Mayweather screamed, “Are you having sex with CJ?  Harris replied, ‘Yes, that is who I’m seeing now.'”

Bulls sign C.J. Watson


The Chicago Bulls still have a few roster spots to fill, and on Thursday they made a major move in regards to addressing their need for depth at the guard position. It was announced today that the team acquired the signed-and-traded contract of guard C.J. Watson from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for a future second-round draft choice.  Golden State will be receiving the lesser of Phoenix’s and Utah’s regular 2011 second-round draft choices, both of which are held by the Bulls.
