Cincinnati Bengals NFL Draft Prospectus

For the Cincinnati Bengals, the main question lies with Carson Palmer, who’s theme this year could be The Clash hit “should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble, and if I stay it will be double.”

This NFL draft, do they take a franchise QB (of which there actually are zero, but they could find a project)? Or do they look for a wideout to pair with Palmer and make more content? What about Chad Ocho Cinco? He’s not leaving them for a soccer career anymore, but is he going to stay in Cincinnati?

The Bengals have needs aplenty, including 4-3 ILB, 4-3 DE, DB, in addition to the passing game. Here’s what I have mocked to Cincy.

Bengals Cheerleader, Oldest in NFL History, Inspires Movie Production

Aside from an episode of the Simpsons, pop culture references to the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders have been few and far between. But that will soon change, the story of the oldest cheerleader in NFL history, 42-year-old Cincinnati Ben-Gal, Laura Vikmanis, is coming to the silver screen. Think “Bring it On” meets “Hope Floats” meets “The Blind Side.” I think.

New Line green-lighted the story of this southern Ohio dietitian and personal trainer, which is even more media friendly than it sounds.

Bengals Chad Ochocinco Dabbling in MLS with Sporting Kansas City

The ongoing NFL lockout is definitely taking a toll on players already, although some of them are taking things in stride and looking for other ways to fill their schedule. Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco for instance is trying out for Major League Soccer. Ochocinco played soccer as a kid and he’s always been attracted to the sport. He took up football in high-school, but his dream of playing for a MLS team has stuck with him. The Sporting Kansas City of the MLS will apparently give him that opportunity now.

Peter Vermes, manager of the Sporting KC said that he was looking forward to have an exceptional athlete of Ochocinco’s stature train with his team.
