2013 NFL Season Predictions: Super Bowl Champion Bengals!



Making predictions for the Super Bowl on February 2nd today on August 27th. Yes, you got to love it. That’s why I’m all about the Cincinnati Bengals as your Super Bowl champion. When you make NFL divisional and Wild Card picks before even the 4th preseason game…well that’s bold.

Look for these to be about as accurate as my NFL mock draft. So don’t take this with a grain of salt. How about a whole truckload of salt. Well, time is a wasting so let’s jump right to the predictions.

Full, Updated List of Ohio State Buckeyes in the NFL

Former Ohio State Buckeyes playing in the National Football League this season will number 37 when your peruse the 53-man opening day rosters. The 2011 NFL season gets under way tonight when the Green Bay Packers hosts New Orleans in a game that will feature four former Buckeyes: A.J. Hawk and Ryan Pickett will suit up for the defending Super Bowl champions and Malcolm Jenkins and Will Smith are members of the Saints.

The list of Buckeyes in the NFL includes seven players off the 2010 team: Chimdi Chekwa (Oakland), Cameron Heyward (Pittsburgh), Jermale Hines (St. Louis Rams), Jake McQuaide (St. Louis), Terrelle Pryor (Oakland), Brian Rolle (Philadelphia) and Dane Sanzenbacher (Chicago Bears).

How to Increase Preseason Attendance in the NFL

The Detroit Lions completed their preseason play with a victory over the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have had some issues selling tickets since their glory years of twenty years ago. If you were able to view any of that game, it was hard not to notice all of the vacant seats that outlined the playing field. I have some ideas on how team owners could fill these stadiums.

Why we WON’T Have NFL next Year: Labor Agreement Cliff Notes


Before reading this I must warn you: it’s rather depressing. It’s a very inconvenient and awful truth about the prospects of the 2011 NFL season. I hope you aren’t in a dark, gloomy and cold place right now.

Coupled with the prospect of losing the next NBA season to a lockout…well, if you’re complaining about how bad your team is now, wait until...to quote ’90s R&B artist Jodeci (actually quoting Bobby Womack since they covered him) “if you think you’re lonely now, wait until tonight.”
