Penn State just announced that they will pay $59.7 million dollars to the 26 victims of child molestor Jerry Sandusky. This according to the Twitter feed of NBC News Investigative Reporter Tom Winter. More about the damages awarded to those victimized by the horrible monster that is Jerry Sandusky.

In addition to the 10 victims that were involved in the charges against Jerry Sandusky charges, an additional 22 came forward for suits.

Also, none of that money, the approximately $60,000,000 will draw on funds gathered from tuition, Penn State donors or state taxes. Instead the 26 victims of Jerry Sandusky will receive compensation from insurance and interest revenue. According to an official release from the school, 23 of those 26 have already signed the agreement, with the last three having agreed in principle.
