Keith Olbermann gave us a montage on his show last night of the four quarterbacks starting in the conference championship games this weekend. You can see Tom Brady and Peyton Manning overuse the words “prepared” and “focus” to the point in which your mind is numbed into mush and your ears bleed. In the second half of the segment, Olbermann, who’s show airs at 11 CST PM on ESPN 2 then gives us a montage of Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick dumbing us down with the incessant usage of the phrase “make plays.”
This video is delightfully painful to watch. Or it’s painfully delightful, I’m not quite sure. Either way it serves as a poignant reminder that all high profile NFL quarterbacks never say ANYTHING of value AT ALL in their press conferences.
I do love what Olbermann did here, but “Simpsons Did it!”
Yes, Look at what I wrote on October 3rd. Notice the intro picture of Tom Brady, who I say now, as I said then is the most boring human being alive. Also pay specific attention to points #1, #5, #7, #8 sound familiar. I really like the work of Olbermann, but I did this four months ago.
