In case you missed it, and by it I mean Lebron James’ postgame press conference at Quicken Loans Arena, following the emotional match-up with his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, we just did a huge favor for you. We transcribed it.
Here’s everything he said after this monster NBA event.
“We came here with one goal, and that was to win a basketball game, and, you know, we did that. This was the most complete game that we’ve had all year from start to finish.”
“I know this court. I’ve made a lot of shots from this court. I just wanted to be aggressive, just try to keep them out of the game. I knew they were going to try to make a run in the third quarter, but we were able to get stops and were able to get some shots.”
“We’ve just got to continue to get better. We know that every night we go out, it’s going to be a hostile environment, but we’ve just got to continue to get better, and it was a good night. It was a good night for our team.”
“Seven great years. I loved every part, I loved every moment, from the growth from when I was an 18-year-old kid to a 25-year-old man, and we tried our best. As a team, we tried our best to bring a championship to this city and just tried to play hard every night. I’ve got the utmost respect for this franchise, the utmost respect for these fans, and I’m just going to continue the greatness for myself here in Miami and am going to try to get better every day.”
“No, I don’t want to apologize. I think my intentions were not to hurt anyone. I’ll always say, decisions I make, I’ve got to live with them. There’s always ways that you could correct them or ways that you could do them better, but at the end of the day, I live with them, and I’m satisfied and happy right now.”
