The Charlotte Bobcats have reportedly met with Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw about their now vacant head coaching position. He’s looking like a strong candidate to take over the team owned by Michael Jordan.
The person spoke to The Associated Press Friday on condition of anonymity because Charlotte has not made its list of candidates public.
The Bobcats finished with the worst single season winning percentage in NBA history, so the new coach will certainly have his worked cut out for him. Despite finishing with the league’s worst record, the New Orleans Hornets, not the Charlotte Bobcats, won the draft lottery.
