MARCUS RASHFORD

Earlier this week, teenage striker Marcus Rashford stumped for his teammate, fellow youngster Anthony Martial to be the cover boy for the next edition of the FIFA video game.

Here’s what he Tweeted regarding #FIFA17 from his official account:

We’ll see in time whether or not Anthony Martial receives the honor, but the Frenchman has claimed one “award” of sorts today.

Anthony Martial is supposedly worth £39.7 million, making him the most valuable player under 21 years of age in the entire world, according to a Soccerex report released today. The Soccerex report was conducted by Prime Time Sport. If this valuation is indeed accurate, then United bought Martial for a bargain last summer, at £36 million.

The deal was widely criticized at the time, with most believing United vastly overpaid for a then relatively unknown. However, with the special first season he had at Old Trafford, it now looks like a brilliant transaction. (Even if he did leak the new Man United home kit)

After all, his failure to appear in the European Championship Final match, until the closing minutes, caused Twitter to melt down.

A teammate of Martial, Marcus Rashford, checks in at #7, with a valuation of £18.9 million. You should also check out this video of how truly terrified Rashford looked on a recent trip to an amusement park.

Here is the full top ten list; notice how they’re all from just two leagues- the German Bundesliga and English Premier League.
