I did some reporting live from Chicago Blackhawks ground zero (Rush and Division), and all was well. Good natured fun. No incidents. I talked with a few Chicago police men tonight. They all said it was rather peaceful and all quiet on the Midwestern front.
However, there were some incidents tonight up near the home of the Chicago Cubs. These were limited and isolated, mostly concentrated in Lakeview/Wrigleyville. I think Bucktown had some issues too.
However, the Gold Coast, Streeterville and even the Viagra Triangle were quiet and tame. By contrast, you must see this tweet from ABC 7 Chicago:
