Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose could be out of Tottenham’s title run-in for a month after picking up a calf injury. The Left Back suffered the setback in the 2-2 North London Derby draw on Saturday.
Rose, who left White Hart Lane with an ice pack strapped to his leg, will be assessed by the Spurs medical team today.
Obviously, this is very damaging to Spurs main cause right now, winning their first league title since 1961.
There’s still a chance for a more optimistic timetable. Danny Rose could be back sooner that four weeks. However, if the damage is as severe as they think it is, it would also rule Danny Rose out of winning his first full cap in England’s friendlies against Germany and Holland at the end of the month, writes The Sun.
So this is a really big deal, and very good news for Leicester City.
