When Newcastle United beat Paris Saint-Germain in their UEFA Champions League group stage clash earlier this season, it was easily one of the more exciting moments in recent club history. What a special night at St. James Park that truly was (as they won 4-1 on Oct. 4), but the mood is much lower heading into the reverse fixture now.
That’s because Newcastle sit bottom in the vaunted UCL group of death, and they still have to play (from what looks on paper anyway) their toughest group stage match.
