Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha felt the rumors surrounding both his personal and professional lives had gone far enough that he took to Twitter to address them. Things have gotten so far out of hand that Wilfried Zaha denied the gossip claiming he had a relationship with the daughter of United Manager David Moyes. And the related rumor that he wasn’t getting much playing time because of that rumored relationship with Lauren Moyes.
Red Devils message boards have been all over this supposed tryst.
Wilfried Zaha tweeted:
“I’ve never dated or even met David Moyes’ Daughter so that isn’t the reason for my absence in games,”
“I would like to stop all these false accusations .. I will play for Manchester United when my manager feels I’m ready.”
The English international was brought over to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace by Sir Alex Ferguson for the price of 15 million pounds. However, Wilfried Zaha has made just one appearance for the Reds since August.
That one appearance came in the League Cup versus Norwich City.
