Wayne Rooney, owner of the richest contract in English football history, got another nice paycheck from Nike for this sweet advertisement guaranteed to get you fired up for the World Cup. The Manchester United striker has obviously worked with Nike before, as United have a kit deal with the sportswear giant based in the Pacific Northwest United States.
In this game of winner stays, every touch of the ball proves that football will always belong to those who Risk Everything, even when it matters the most.
Featuring: former Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo (2003-2009), Neymar Jr., the 27-year-old superstar Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gerard Piqué, Gonzalo Higuaín, Mario Götze, Eden Hazard, Thiago Silva, Andrea Pirlo, David Luiz, Andrés Iniesta, Thibaut Courtois, and Everton goalkeeper (another former member of the Red Devils) Tim Howard.
Even NBA superstar Kobe Bryant makes an appearance; in the stands. Enjoy
This is the second part of Nike’s ‘Risk Everything’ 2014 soccer campaign. Show us your game with #RiskEverything — tag your best football moments for a chance to be featured in a Nike highlight reel.
It’s a fun video to watch, but I would have liked to have seen Wayne Rooney in his red United kit instead of in an England national team shirt.
