Edurne Garcia Almagro, better known as Edurne, her stage name, has been called the next Shakira. As the girlfriend (or fiance, depends on which gossip newspaper is more credible here) of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, she also could have major influence on European football’s summer transfer market. Or at least one of the biggest deals going down/not going down, and the dominoes that would fall soon afterward.
It’s been reported that she’s the driving force behind De Gea’s potential move to Real Madrid.
We cannot verify that. Also, we don’t have an answer right now as to where De Gea will be plying his trade next season. However, we do have something posted here that’s very worthwhile. You’ll be glad you’ve seen this.
Edurne appeared on a talk show to promote her entrance into the Eurovision competition. During the interview, she was grilled repeatedly about where #DaveSaves will be playing football next year.
By all accounts it was an extremely awkward interview, as Edurne kept gearing the conversation back to Eurovision, in a manner that wasn’t exactly polished. She even did the whole faking technical difficulties bit.
We didn’t get an answer, and unfortunately for Edurne, she didn’t win the contest this evening. However, it was an excellent live performance. She really wowed us. So here’s the YouTube of the Grand Final of Amanecer by Edurne representing Spain at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest:
Big time hat tip on this to @FangsBites, of Bloguin’s Fangs Bites.
