While Manchester United has some of the biggest and best names of anyone in the Premier League on their roster, the Red Devils are still not considered league title favorites. While some pundits and prognosticators have picked the red side of Manchester to win it all, including this author, the sports wagering community disagrees.
The bookies had the blue side of Manchester as league title favorites before United broke the bank to acquire Paul Pogba. Now even after the world record transfer fee to complete #Pogback sports books still believe Manchester city are the front-runner.
Here are the title odds via bet365.com
Manchester City 5-2
Manchester United 10-3
Chelsea 11-2
Arsenal 6-1
Tottenham Hotspur 9-1
Liverpool 9-1
Leicester city 28-1
Again, in my humble little opinion, have to agree to disagree. FOX Soccer released their preseason Premier League best starting XI yesterday and United had three players in the lineup; more than any other club. That has to count for something, right?
