Colombian striker Radamel Falcao joined Manchester United on loan, in a last minute surprise acquisition on transfer deadline day. Today, the loan deal was made permanent. Various sources are reporting £43m. According to the Daily Mail, United have reached an agreement with Monaco and he will begin his new deal with the Red Devils next season.
Said Falcao of his first appearance at the Theatre of Dreams as a member of Manchester United:
“I want to say thank you to the fans. I enjoyed the welcome a lot. It was fantastic. “I almost scored. The goalkeeper was good. I hope to score the next game. “It felt good to make my debut at Old Trafford. It is an extraordinary stadium, a legendary stadium and I am happy to get the win. I will enjoy this moment.”
