There’s new emoji to use for the kickoff of Barclay’s Premier League season this weekend, Manchester United fans. These emoji are just like the hashflags we saw during the Women’s World Cup this summer and also last summer during the Men’s World Cup. Check it out, I Tweeted a few so you could them in action.

The little trophy comes up for #BPL and #BPLKickoff. Also, you can see the crest for #MUFC Manchester United Football Club. Actually, it works for every team. Have fun! In addition to the World Cup, we also saw these logos and emojis for the NBA Finals in June. As you can see, it’s a very popular feature that’s sure to spread into more sporting events and sporting leagues. These certainly make twitter more colorful and interesting.
