Time for your daily Arturo Vidal is coming/not coming/maybe coming/definitely coming to Manchester United update. We’ll look at what media outlets in which countries are saying the transfer has been completed. Or not. Or maybe it has.
There’s media in three countries interested in this: Juventus (Italy) his current club, Chile (where he was a national star for the World Cup team) and United (England of course!)
One thing is for certain, no one can dispute this: the Arturo Vidal to Man United storyline will not go away.
After weeks of speculation, deals and announcements, the Summer Transfer Deadline Day finally closes at 11.00pm on Monday, September 1. So this could very well end up being our penultimate Arturo Vidal update. Unless Old Trafford finally pulls the trigger on this deal, and brings some closure. Maybe.
From the Daily Mail:
Manchester United are playing a game of cat and mouse with Juventus over Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The word from Manchester on Friday was that the club were no longer interest in Vidal. But 24 hours later there were suggestions in Italy that United raised an earlier bid of £30million to £35m.
