Manchester United are going to break the bank this summer transfer window, provided they find the targets they’re looking for. The Glazers have given David Moyes a blank check, and he’s got a whole list of targets. Toni Kroos is up at the top of it, with Fabio Coentrao, Ilkay Gundogan in the mix. Sporting Lisbon winger Carlos Mané is also high up on the list.
The 19-year-old football prodigy is attracting strong interest from across the globe. Carlos Mané is regarded as having as much potential as anyone in Portuguese football. Sky Sports says Manchester United were reportedly very impressed after seeing the winger last weekend. The Red Devils are one of many clubs interested in Carlos, and they’ve also been pursuing teammate William Carvalho for quite some time as well.
Born in Lisbon, Carlos Mané joined local Sporting Clube de Portugal at the age of only seven. On 9 December 2012 he made his senior debut, appearing with the B-team in a second division match against C.D. Aves after coming on as a substitute for Jorge Chula in the 78th minute of a 2–2 home draw; exactly one month later, for the same competition, he scored his first professional goal, at C.F. Os Belenenses (1–2 loss)
