Yesterday German international superstar Bastian Schweinsteiger discussed the move from Manchester United and playing in Europe, to the United States of America, and the Chicago Fire in the audio file below. Bear in mind that this audio below is completely different from the introductory press conference, which was televised and streamed.
You can view that Q&A session over at this link. What’s here in the Sound Cloud embedded below is a short question and answer with a cadre of reporters, conducted off to the side, once the main intro presser had concluded:

One major adjustment Schweinsteiger will have to make is that here, in America, the media are allowed to come into the dressing room. It has been a very surreal and transcendent couple of days for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, as Schweinsteiger is the biggest signing in club history.
When you saw the videos and photos of the warm welcome Schweinsteiger received at O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday night, you knew something special was happening. Attending the spectacle of his intro presser Wednesday, it’s clear that #CHIweinsteiger is the biggest story to occur in Chicago sports since the Cubs World Series victory on November 3rd.
Not since the Cubs triumph in Cleveland that night has the world been focusing on a Chicago sports narrative.
Yesterday’s intro press session brought plenty of storylines as well. From the German revealing how and why Anthony Martial gave him his nickname, to the fact that he never had an opportunity to say a proper goodbye to Man United (which he now did at this link) to the infamous and hilariously bone-headed reporter World Cup question, it was a very insightful and revealing session.
