Could their be a Liverpool FC reunion going on at Celtic FC? We already have one of the major key figures from the Reds’ Premier League runner-up season of 2013-14, Manager Brendan Rodgers, at the Scotland football power.
Now we might be seeing that team’s most iconic star, midfielder Steven Gerrard, potentially joining him at Celtic Park.

Ex-Celtic player Andy Lynch, who it must be said was promoting a book and headlines aid that quite a bit, says Gerrard claims to be a big Celtic supporter and that it’s “probable” he’d come to Celtic Park.
From The Scottish Daily Record:
“I was surprised how passionate he was so it’s not so outrageous to think he’d choose to come here. Especially now Brendan is there and perhaps with a coaching role added as a sweetener, I don’t think it’s an impossible dream for Celtic fans.”
Gerrard has already done the “European star goes to the football world’s retirement home in America” routine as the former Liverpool star is now with the L.A. Galaxy in Major League Soccer. He is reportedly still wanted in by the MLS powerhouse in California, but he still wants to play a couple more seasons before he transitions to his next career as a coach.
He has previously stated on numerous occasions that his ultimate goal is to be a coach, with the Liverpool staff being his ultimate dream destination someday. Perhaps Celtic will be that stop in between Los Angeles and wherever Stevie G. commences his coaching career.
