As Liverpool super-supporter, comedian, and fake journalist John Oliver put it, “Jurgen Klopp is not a man who understands the concept of not going full pace all the time.”
The always on German is INTENSE, in an ALL CAPS way, at all times, good or bad. You got to love his celebrations; they are quite often epic. He even takes post-game hugging to the extreme. Have a watch below.

That’s right, Klopp dished out 10 man hugs; thus disproving once and for all that horribly inaccurate stereotype that Germans are cold, unemotional, robotic, mechanical people. Well, no this one incident will not eradicate just awful prejudice, but it’s very entertaining and compelling nonetheless.
Jurgen Klopp even added a forehead nuzzle in there just for fun. These celebrations came after Liverpool handed Chelsea their first loss, and vaulted themselves into the top four. The Reds have amazingly taken ten points from their first four, a very rough schedule that included the three big London clubs, three of the four Champions League participants, and the defending champions.
Perhaps Jurgen Klopp is really building something special at Anfield right now, and he described how much he enjoys hugging his players; in essence what makes them so huggable.
“I enjoy it more,” Klopp responded, when asked about the importance of hugging his players.
“I’m really demanding to be honest, and I really want a lot of them. When you can really see how they fight, with the last drop of fuel in their machine … that’s the most easy thing to do [hug them].
“That’s what makes it for them more enjoyable. Now, having something like this in the dressing room and seeing them there all smiling … that’s really nice.”
