“You’ll never walk alone” is the sacrosanct motto of Liverpool FC. However, it must apply only to Liverpool FC supporters and those who work for the team. Because as this video shows, “you’ll fall alone, and we DON’T CARE to help you.” Or the Liverpool FC motto just doesn’t apply to the opposition.
Paul Lambert’s side took a 2-0 lead on Liverpool FC and look on course to repeat last season’s heroics at Anfield, when they bagged a Christian Benteke-inspired win.
Besides the goals from Villans Andreas Weimann and Benteke, there was another highlight of the first half, caught on the Sky cameras.
Gabby Agbonlahor hurdled the billboards and crashed onto the floor. He was slow to get up might have been in some pain. The rather large Liverpool FC fan right in front of him did absolutely nothing to help. Instead he just took a picture! Way to embrace your team’s motto of support and humanity.
Alan Smith on Sky said: “That picture will be on Twitter in a minute!”
