It was a painfully boring transfer deadline day- just lack of activity for the most part. Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea was really the only big news that happened. We all knew this was coming for weeks, but today it was finally made official at the last minute.
Juan Cuadrado wrote a message to Fiorentina fans that said: “Florence will always be in my heart. The people are extraordinary. The fans full of passion. The Viola launched my career and gave me the opportunity to grow, also thanks to a great club and exceptional teammates.”
And here is the photo of Juan Cuadrado with his new blue Chelsea shirt:

Meanwhile, ESPN FC claims that Mohamed Salah is to travel to Florence on Monday to undergo a medical ahead of his loan move to Fiorentina. So Chelsea, a club that claimed consistently throughout November and December that they wouldn’t be active in this transfer market, end up being the club who closes a big deal.
