In the space between, what’s wrong and right, I thought kind of hoping this Dave Matthews story would have a more dangerous plot twist.. However, that would have been kind of evil on my part. Dave Matthews went for a preshow bike ride in rural Pennsylvania by himself, and no cell phone. It was anything but a typical situation in these typical times. Matthews was stranded in where those psychotic Penn State fans live.
Man I would be worried. Luckily for Dave Matthews, he was able to make the best of what’s around. Rabid PSU fans in that backward state are legitimately dangerous.
Emily Kraus and her boyfriend spotted Matthews as they were traveling to his concert in Hershey, Pa., on Saturday.
“We saw him on the other side of the road and we pulled my car in here,” Kraus told CBS’ WHP-TV affiliate. “And he picks up his bike and throws it up here.”
Dave Matthews invited the pair to dinner and gave them backstage passes.
“My cheeks still hurt from smiling, giggling and laughing all night long,” Kraus wrote on Facebook.
