Bo Pelini

Think embattled Nebraska Cornhuskers Coach Bo Pelini is toast? Do you think his job is in serious jeopardy? You will now after you read his quotes from the press conference he just completed following the Huskers 38-17 whopping, at home no less, at the hands of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Bo Pelini said he’s proud of the job he’s done and how the kids have performed; which is industry standard presser pablum– usually. It takes on a deeper meaning when you look at the context of what else Bo Pelini said.

Bo Pelini on the penalty called against him: “That was a chicken **** call.”

Pelini (still on job talk): “I believe in what I’ve done… this program is heading in a good direction.” #Huskers

Pelini: “Its incredible what we’ve gone through…I told those kids ‘You don’t have to apologize to anybody” & gotta walk out with head high

It’s SHOCKING that Illini Coach Tim Beckman has more job security on the final weekend of college football than Bo Pelini
